17 Jun 10 We have just learnt the sad news of the death on June 13th of Peter Cambridge, one of the three "Boys from Ford" who, together with Peter Kirwan-Taylor, designed the Lotus Type 14 Elite. 
20 Apr 10 HLR won “Best Club Stand” at the Club Lotus Show at Malvern, thanks mainly to the strenuous efforts of John Watson, who arranged for as many as 13 Mark VIs in our display.  For photos of our stand click here.
3 Apr 10 We have been told that the Thoroughbred Sportscar Championship is now open to S3, S4, Sprint and +2 Lotus Elan's. This championship previously concentrated on steel bodied British classic's. The cars will run in Class B and run as 'Road Modified'. For full details of specification allowed visit www.thoroughbredsportscars.co.uk and look under regulations. There are also some supplementary reg's specifically relating to the Elan.

14 Nov 09 At the Annual General meeting Charles Helps stood down as Chairman and was replaced by Victor Thomas, Gordon Morris stood down as Vice Chairman and was replaced by Paul Davis, and John Watson stood down as General Secretary and was replaced by Philip Jewell.

30 Oct 07 There is now a complete list of the contents all of the fifty HLR magazines that have appeared.  It is possible to search through the list for Lotus types, names of authors etc. using the "Find on this page" facility.  To see the list click here.  Many back issues are still available.

We have increased the price of magazine back issues to £5 and added the cost of postage. Overseas members may now pay for these by Credit Card .
